VARA Network Grants
1. Application

Provide details on how your project contributes to the Vara ecosystem, typically through augmenting users or unlocking new use-cases.
E.g: increased network/network operator adoption, dApp development and integrations, community engagement

Grants are milestone-based. Applications should include suggested milestones for resource facilitation.
2. Review
- The Grant Committee reviews applications on a rolling basis. Expect to hear back within 4-6 weeks. The majority of grants for accepted applicants will be worth 30k; however, there may be opportunities for larger grants.
- You may be contacted for an interview with the reviewing committee to address specific questions or provide additional information.
- Business review include: contribution to Vara ecosystem, competitive analysis, roadmap, use of funds and team experience.
- Technical review include: ecosystem analysis, resourcing requirements and financial projections.
3. Decision
- Applicants will be notified via email with a decision on their submission.
4. Onboarding
- The Gear Foundation will schedule an onboarding meeting and connect you with a technical representative to assist you during the development process.
- You’ll receive a brief on relevant legal and resource aspects of the grant.
5. Ongoing Support
- The Gear Foundation will regularly check in to advise and provide support where necessary.
6. Engagement
- As soon as your project has been launched, Gear will inform the community in relevant social channels. Additional marketing support may be also provided.
